Bob Bartley and Gypsy met in Guadalajara Mex. thirty-six years ago. Gypsy was being sold at the bird sellers stall along with half a dozen other scarlet macaws. The others huddled in fear at the back of the cage while Gypsy hung upside down and screamed every time Bob tried to leave.

After being rescued, Gypsy promptly tried to remove the red strawberry buttons from Bob's shirt . Bob wouldn't allow it and relationship of respect and trust was born. Bob began to take Gypsy everywhere he went, everywhere . . . the beach, car shows,the renaissance faire.

One day at the faire over thirty years ago Bob realized that he was drawing bigger crowds than the stage shows and asked how to audition. The following year they were accepted and have been performing ever since.
