Bob and Gypsy offer a wide variety of educational programs.
Our Education Through Entertainment Program includes information on habitat, life expectancy and the diet of the beautiful scarlet macaw. This program can be tailored to meet your lesson plan requirements using fun facts about the rain forest and these spectacular creatures. Additional avian facts or information on the forest canopy can also be included as we design a program that’s right for you.
Living History Programs are also available. Bob, a.k.a. Robin Bartlett, retells his story of how he rescued his friend Gypsy while circumnavigating the globe with Captain Drake aboard the Golden Hinde. This program includes historical information on such figures as Drake, Queen Elizabeth I and King Phillip. Using descriptions of the living conditions these men endured, the economic and social pressures of the time, group discussions can be guided while learning about this exciting period of exploration and colonization.
